WHERE EVERWINDOW BEGAN

It started
with Dad.

I made the first illustrated world to remember my dad, a musician who could always find room for another organ. His familiar routines shaped it: morning coffee, music through the day, and sleep at night.

A few days after I first had the idea, I woke up in the middle of the night and looked in. There he was, peacefully asleep.

I remember smiling and saying out loud:

“Good night, Dad.”

The next morning, I remembered that moment. That was when I knew I had to make Everwindow.

What does Everwindow include?

The Everwindow display is a one-time purchase of $119, plus a subscription for personal illustrated moments. Choose $5/month for around 4 daytime moments a day or $10/month for around 8 daytime moments a day. A sleeping scene is included on the house, in addition to the daytime moments. All prices are in USD.

What happens if I cancel my subscription?

If you cancel your subscription, new illustrated moments will no longer be created. Your existing moments will continue to rotate on your Everwindow display, so you can keep enjoying the moments you already have.

How many moments will I see each day?

Our initial subscriptions offer around 4 daytime moments a day for $5/month or 8 daytime moments a day for $10/month (USD). That’s approximately 120 or 240 daytime moments over a 30-day month, plus a sleeping scene each night on the house. Each is a personal, illustrated glimpse into their day, timed around familiar habits. One moment stays on the display until the next begins.

Can I choose how my loved one is remembered?

Yes. You’ll choose an age and illustration style, share the habits and activities that matter, and approve the portrait and first moments before their illustrated days begin.

What happens tomorrow?

A new personal plan is created around their habits and interests, with new illustrated moments for that day’s activities. Familiar rituals carry through, while the mix of activities and their timing vary. Their illustrated day unfolds automatically in your local time.

Do the moments move?

Each moment is a still illustration of an imagined activity inspired by your memories. It remains on the display until the next scheduled moment.

Do I need an app or a computer running?

You’ll use our website for setup and account management. The display is designed to receive its moments independently over Wi-Fi, while plugged into USB-C power.

How big is it, and what does it need?

The display’s body is approximately 9.7 × 9.3 × 1.8 cm (3.8 × 3.7 × 0.7 inches), with a 3.95-inch colour touchscreen and folding stand. Allow extra space for the stand and cable. It needs 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi with internet access for new moments and continuous USB-C power at 5 V / 1 A. There’s no battery.

How we use your details

We store your email address, signup date and consent so we can send Everwindow launch updates. Signup details are kept in the site’s private database and aren’t displayed publicly. A temporary network identifier helps limit automated signups.

Your signup confirmation includes a link to remove your email immediately. Keep that link, or sign up with the same email again to recover it. No photographs or personal memories are needed to join this list.
